Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Located in Fantasyland inside the Magic Kingdom, it is not to be missed. Not surprisingly, Be Our Guest took the inspiration for its decor from Beauty and the Beast. When you arrive for your meal, you will be seated in one of three areas: the Grand Ballroom, the West Wing, or the Castle Gallery. The Crystal Palace Character Dining

The Crystal Palace is one of three character dining locations found within the gates of the Magic Kingdom (the others being Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table - you can learn more about that on our last post! ). Located on Main Street USA not far from Adventureland, it’s a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. It is also the only location in all of Disney property where you can dine with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Characters are available for all three meals served at the Crystal Palace. Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of, if not the most popular table service dining location at Walt Disney World. Booking your reservation at the 60 day mark is crucial to guarantee your spot at a table inside Cinderella’s Castle. Cinderella’s Royal Table is located in Fantasyland, inside the Magic Kingdom. Closing Down the Magic Kingdom

Did you know Magic Kingdom does not shut down abruptly at closing time!?!? You will have about an hour or so to meander through the park. While the attractions will be closed as well as most of the restaurants, some of the shops and restaurants will remain open for up to an hour. Most of the park patrons will be rushing for the exit, but you do not have to follow suit! Below are some benefits to staying in the Magic Kingdom after closing…   Take your time - Hanging out in Magic Kingdom after closing allows you time to enjoy the details as crowds dwindle. The parks are beautiful in the dark. You can enjoy the sounds of the background music without the wall-to-wall people. With less crowds, you can also appreciate the Imagineer’s attention to detail throughout the spaces of Seven Dwarfs Mine train, Gaston’s Tavern, the Enchanted Forest by Belle’s Cottage, and Tomorrowland. If you are taking your 3-12 year old princesses to Walt Disney World, chances are that you have explored the option of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to give your princess the royal treatment. At Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, your little one gets to be transformed into a princess or gallant knight by choosing one of their hairstyle options and getting a makeover by a Fairy Godmother-in-training in their salon. Prices range from $65 to $450+. We took our girls for the first time when they were 4 and 6 years old and we went with the $65 package and were more than thrilled with all that it included! Plus, if you have Memory Maker, you also get all of the pictures that the photographers take throughout the experience in addition to those taken during the photo session in their studio. You have been looking forward to your Walt Disney World vacation for quite some time. You have your dining reservations set. All of the Fastpass+ selections have been scheduled. You left the resort and are ready for a memorable day at Magic Kingdom!
