Dining at 'Ohana

Ohana is a special and unique dining experience found at the Polynesian Hotel at Disney World in Florida. Not staying at the Polynesian Hotel—NO problem! You can still dine at Ohana!

Breakfast and Dinner are available at Ohana, and you can pay out of pocket or use 1 credit per person on the Disney dining plan, Disney plus dining plan, or the Deluxe dining plan. Please note that the Quick Service credits are NOT an option to use at this dining location. As of this writing, breakfast will cost $42/Adult and $27/Child plus gratuities. Dinner will cost $55/Adult and $33/Child plus gratuities and any adult beverages (soft drinks are included).

If you save room or arrive early, maybe stop at the Pineapple Lanai for an infamous Dole Whip---located just outside the lobby at this hotel! A great treat for a non-park day!

The Polynesian Hotel is located near the Magic Kingdom. When staying onsite with a travel package booked by your On The Road Travel Magic Planner, you have a variety of options to…

Character Dining at Hollywood & Vine

Hollywood and Vine is the place to be if you have Disney Junior loving kiddos! Located in the Echo Lake area of Hollywood Studios, you can have an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet with Disney Junior friends in the morning, or Minnie and friends in the afternoon and evening. Since this restaurant is in Hollywood Studios, you will need valid park admission to dine here.
Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 10:20am and includes favorites like Mickey waffles, made-to-order omelets, pastries, and fresh fruit. Plus, you can even top it off with an ice cream sundae! Adults can also enjoy a mimosa or bloody mary with their meal.
Throughout your breakfast, you’ll be greeted by Disney Junior stars usually including Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, and Roadster Racer Goofy (subject to change). They’ll come around right to your table for photos and autographs! On the 2020 Disney Dining Plan, Hollywood & Vine will use one table service credit. If you’re paying cash for breakfast, it’ll be $42 …

Character Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

If you are looking for a fun and unique take on a character breakfast and you have a princess lover in your group, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is perfect for your family! This is the one of the only restaurants that offer the chance to meet all your favorite Disney Princesses in one place. You can expect to meet Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, and Ariel. Reservations are strongly suggested to be made 180 days in advance for the best options to plan your day at EPCOT. Please note, that you will need valid park admission to dine here.
Akershus is located at EPCOT in the Norway Pavilion of the World Showcase. There is typically a line that is formed at the entrance into Norway, which is often confused with the line for Frozen Ever After, so please be sure to check in at the front of the restaurant to save your spot! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by your first Princess, more than likely this will be Belle, but that is always subject to change. The rem…

Character Dining at the Garden Grill

The Garden Grill is a favorite character dining experience tucked away in The Land pavilion at Epcot. Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale make the rounds to greet guests at this rotating restaurant. Guests are invited to dine on a family style meal while the restaurant rotates through scenes of the Living with the Land attraction.

Characters are available at every meal. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM and features scrambled eggs, fruit, bacon, sausage, and Mickey-shaped waffles. But the sticky bun bake is a favorite - yummy! Lunch is offered from 11:30 AM until 3:00 PM. Finally, Dinner is served beginning at 4:00 PM and goes until 8:30 PM. Lunch and dinner are served family style. Garden salad, turkey breast, stuffing, macaroni & cheese, grilled beef, seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes and french fries are on the menu for lunch and dinner. A seasonal dessert is a great way to top off your meal. We’ve enjoyed apple crisp and berry short cake at recent visits. Some…

The Crystal Palace Character Dining

The Crystal Palace is one of just two character dining locations found within the gates of the Magic Kingdom (the other being Cinderella’s Royal Table - you can learn more about that on our last post!). Located on Main Street USA not far from Adventureland, it’s a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. It is also the only location in all of Disney property where you can dine with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Characters are available for all three meals served at the Crystal Palace. (Breakfast: 8 am- 10:45 am; Lunch: 11:30 am- 3:15 pm; or Dinner: 3:15 pm - 9 pm).

The buffet offerings are standard for Disney character dining--American fare with a few “fun” salad options, a butcher’s station, a “kids” food buffet option (but don’t judge me for taking the Mac & Cheese), and a delicious variety of dessert options. You will be seated at a specific table and your server will bring your drinks and refills, which are included in the cost of the meal; just don’t forget to tip!

Crystal Pal…
