Big River Grille & Brewing Works

Updated 6/16/22 For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the   Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide. Big River Grille & Brewing Works, located at Disney’s Boardwalk, is a great place to dine or have a craft beer for those that enjoy adult beverages. While not inside the Boardwalk Inn resort, it is just down the steps. So if you’re traveling from a park or resort, it’s best to take a bus or ferry boat to the Boardwalk. Busses do not travel from resort to resort, so if you’re traveling from your home resort, you’ll need to first visit a theme park and catch a bus or boat from there. Ride Share or taxis are also a good, quick option. If you’re at Epcot, it’s also a very short walk from the International Gateway. If you’re at Hollywood Studios, you can take the Skyliner to Epcot’s International Gateway and walk from there. Because it is on the Boardwalk, a park pass and park reservation are not require...

If you’re at your resort, you will want to take transportation to Hollywood Studios or Epcot and catch a bus or ferry over to the Boardwalk. Prior to it’s reimagining in 2016, Flying Fish’s decor was described as “Coney Island inspired.” The new-look Flying Fish now boasts a totally fresh interior. The basic layout remained the same but all of the decor completely changed. Disney has stated the reimagining was, “designed to create a sophisticated style, paying homage to the golden era of seaside ...

Trattoria al Forno is a wonderful restaurant located at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort that offers casual Italian dining. Trattoria al Forno is located at a resort so you don’t need to have a park ticket to be able to enjoy this dining experience. Another plus is transportation. Because of the location, this restaurant is within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. It is located closer to the front entrance of Hollywood Studios so if you are at your resort, the easiest way to get to this restaurant is to take Disney transportation to Hollywood Studios and then walk all the way to the Boardwalk, take the Skyliner to Epcot’s International Gateway and walk the short distance to the Boardwalk, or take the ferry boat to the Boardwalk.
