Dining at Trattoria al Forno

Updated 6/16/22
For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

Trattoria al Forno is a wonderful restaurant located at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort that offers casual Italian dining.

Trattoria al Forno is located at a resort so you don’t need to have a park ticket to be able to enjoy this dining experience. Another plus is transportation. Because of the location, this restaurant is within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. It is located closer to the front entrance of Hollywood Studios so if you are at your resort, the easiest way to get to this restaurant is to take Disney transportation to Hollywood Studios and then walk all the way to the Boardwalk, take the Skyliner to Epcot’s International Gateway and walk the short distance to the Boardwalk, or take the ferry boat to the Boardwalk.

Trattoria al Forno takes one dining credit for those on the dining plan (when available). Or, if you aren’t on the dining plan, prices range from $15-$34.99.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 11:30 AM. Some of the breakfast entrees include Buttermilk Pancakes, Caprese Omelet, and Avocado Toast. There is a kids menu that offers Mickey-shaped Waffles, Flapjacks, and a Fruit and Yogurt Plate.

Dinner at Trattoria al Forno is served from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Their dinner menu has several options to choose from including pizza, pasta, salads, steak, scallops, chicken, and appetizers to choose from.

The food for both breakfast and dinner has great selections and tastes delicious. The location also offers you the opportunity to walk to a park after you are done or enjoy a walk along the BoardWalk. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for your next trip!

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
