When it comes to Disney, there are no character dining experiences desired more than Cinderella’s Royal Table in the heart of the Magic Kingdom. You are greeted by Cinderella as you enter the castle and ascend the spiral staircase (or take the gilded elevator) to the banquet hall above. While you dine, you will overlook Fantasyland and often be able to visit with Aurora, Ariel, Snow White, and Jasmine as you enjoy breakfast. The morning menu highlights include caramel apple-stuffed french toast, baked quiche, and shrimp and grits. Please note, dining here will cost two table service dining credits for those on the Disney Dining Plan. This is the toughest place to get a table in all the land, so make sure to book this Advance Dining Reservation early, preferably a full 180 days ahead!
When entering Magic Kingdom, if you look on the right side of Main Street U.S.A, you will see Main Street Bakery. The bakery houses the Magic Kingdom’s Starbuck’s location. Coffee lovers will be able to pick up their morning latte and their favorite croissant, muffin, or cupcake and stroll down the middle of Main Street. No indoor seating is available, so be sure to head up Main Street and look for a table near the Ice Cream Parlor or Casey’s, or you can even park in the hub grass and enjoy the castle views while you indulge.

Sleepy Hollow Inn at Liberty Square is a quick service eatery that makes amazing waffle sandwiches throughout the day. Guests can opt for the hot, freshly-made waffle topped with strawberries and whipped cream or a breakfast waffle topped with ham, prosciutto, and tomatoes. You can also dive into a funnel cake if you are on ‘vacation dining mode’. There is a small area with outdoor seating where those lucky enough to get a table will be treated to wonderful views of Cinderella’s Castle.
Be Our Guest in Fantasyland is an early morning dining location that many families stop at each time they visit the parks. The surroundings of The Beast’s Castle make it a marvelous way to start your Magic Kingdom day. The dining options include breakfast sandwiches, vegetable quiche, Feast A La Gaston (scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sausage served with fresh fruit and pastries), or a croissant doughnut. For those on a Disney Dining Plan, this restaurant only counts as 1 Quick Service Credit. Additionally, Be Our Guest takes advanced dining reservations, so it is essential that you make your reservations as far out as possible (and the quick-service restaurant does allow pre-opening reservations). A fun technological treat at Be Our Guest is that you can order your food online in advance. Guests can make selections using the My Disney Experience app and when you arrive for your meal, it will magically be ready!
Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland is home to shareable gooey Cinnamon rolls. There is also a delightful frozen apple juice drink with toasted marshmallows and passion fruit topping called LeFou’s Brew (non-alcoholic). It a great spot to stop, refuel, examine those park maps and plot the activities for the day. The Tavern is open daily from 9am.
Quick Note - Breakfast has recently become available at the casual, family-friendly Plaza Restaurant (from November to early January). You can choose from the All-American breakfast platter, lobster benedict, or go with everyone’s favorite, Mickey Waffles.
There is no shortage of amazing eateries to keep you fueled up during your Disney visit!

Another great restaurant for those wanting character dining experiences is The Crystal Palace. The open, Victorian inspired establishment is made for meeting friends from the Hundred Acre Woods, including Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet and the lovable bear himself, Pooh. Each will stop by your table for hugs, pictures, and autographs. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with Pooh and friends present at all three buffet-style meals. The breakfast buffet food is classic fare such as fruit, fresh baked pastries, make-your-own omelets, Mickey waffles, and an amazing cheesy casserole. If you make an early reservation, you can head down a not-so-busy Main Street USA after dining and get a fantastic start to the activities at Magic Kingdom! Dining here will cost one table service dining credit for those on the Disney Dining Plan.
