Spice Road Table

Updated 6/16/22
For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

Spice Road Table is a tapas restaurant located within the World Showcase at Epcot as part of the Morocco Pavilion. For that reason, you will need valid park admission to dine here, as well as a park reservation. You can use Disney Transportation to get here. If you're entering from the front gate, head all the way to the back of the park to reach the World Showcase and then head around to the right. If you're entering from the International Gateway, take a right and walk through France to reach Morocco.

For those unfamiliar with tapas restaurants, Spice Road Table offers small portions that are meant for sharing. You will find options such as spicy shrimp, fried calamari, naan spreads, and the Spice Road Table sampler—all while enjoying decor inspired by the outdoor cafés that are reminiscent of the seasides of Morocco.

The idea is that you order several dishes and have a bite or two of each, sharing them among your party. This has always been a great location!

The artwork and decor pays tribute to the spice markets of the Middle East. Spice Road Table provides food that feels authentic, and the restaurant offers a great drink menu. Disney recently took this location back to the lounge format with a no reservation model! It is like having a sit-down location that doesn’t take reservations--so you’re able to just walk up and check for availability as a change of pace.

If you walk up and you can’t get a seat, we suggest just walking up to their bar. Grab one of the delicious drinks---We often choose to share a drink---as we try to sample much of what the World Showcase has to offer!

Currently this dining stop opens at 11:30AM and is open until the park closes.

My favorite part of this location is the VIEW, especially when forward thinking to viewing the end of the night finale around the lagoon, once it is in production!

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
