Updated 6/16/22
For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

Paddlefish is located at The Landing, within Disney Springs. Serving American and seafood offerings, this Signature Dining location is a popular choice for seafood and steak lovers alike.

For your dining experience at Paddlefish you will board an iconic paddleboat anchored on Lake Buena Vista where you can feast on fresh seafood and savory steaks. Paddlefish is known as one of the best seafood restaurants in the Orlando area, serving favorites like Maine lobster, ceviche and king crab.

When staying onsite at a Disney resort, you can take WDW bus transportation from your resort to Disney Springs to dine at this location. If water taxis are offered at your resort, this is also a lovely and relaxing option to get to Paddlefish. If staying off site, there are parking garages onsite at Disney Springs for use, and of course rideshare services are available.

Lunch is currently served from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Dinner from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm and the lounge is currently serving drinks and a limited menu from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Reservations are strongly encouraged if you want to dine at Paddlefish.

A wide variety of domestic, imported and craft beers are available in both the lounge and dining room. Wines and libations are also available.

Lunch and dinner menus are very similar. Starters offered include Crab Cakes, Calamari, and Beef Skewers. New England Clam Chowder is the featured soup. Many variations of salads and lettuce wedges are also an option for guests. Entrees include seafood and traditional variations of pasta dishes, fish tacos, Filet Mignon, shrimp, as well as salmon. New York style cheesecake is offered as a perfect ending to your meal.

A children’s menu is also available for your less adventurous eaters, featuring traditional American fare such as hot dogs and burgers. Also available on the children’s menu are seafood and pasta. To look at the full lunch, dinner and lounge menus, visit the Walt Disney World website.

As this is a Signature Dining location, you can find entrees ranging in price from $15 to $60 for dinner, depending on what you are hungry for. Although not currently offered, when using Disney Dining Plan dining credits in the past for this location, two table service credits were required for dining at Paddlefish.

For those guests looking for a more relaxed, fine dining experience, or for anyone wishing to celebrate a special occasion, Paddlefish may be the perfect location!

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...

Get a taste of Disney heritage when you dine at the newest restaurant in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Named for the year Disney’s Contemporary Resort first opened, Steakhouse 71 harkens back to the design style of the 1970’s, reimagined in a contemporary, comfortable, and sleek way. You’ll even notice some Florida flair - such as Orange Bird and citrus groves - mixed in with the decor. Guests will feast on a delicious menu that offers a nod to Walt Disney himself. Choose from dishes inspired by some of Walt’s favorites, including the Steakhouse 71 Feast or Walt’s Prime Rib Hash for breakfast. French Onion Soup, Prime Rib Sandwich, and Fennel and Citrus-crusted Salmon are offered at lunch or dinner. Classic cocktails and a portfolio of Disney family wines are also available. I enjoyed breakfast on a recen...
