Le Cellier

Updated 6/16/22
For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

Le Cellier Steakhouse is one of the more popular restaurants in Epcot and is found in the Canada Pavilion where the food is all representative of Canada and the wine list features wines from various Canadian provinces and regions. Le Cellier is a small restaurant that serves table service meals at lunch and dinner---the small space creates a relaxed and much loved atmosphere with stone arches and flickering candles. It is a quaint and lovely find in the big world of Disney parks. The ambiance within the world showcase at Epcot is lovely, and in the area of Canada, it is such a peaceful and enjoyed space full of brick buildings, a rambling brook, great photo spots, and don’t forget the Kidcot fun stops that we have grown to love over the years.

While this restaurant is not a character dining experience, it does accept the dining plan (when offered) as a signature dining experience. This means if and when dining plans are an option, a meal here counts as two credits per person when using the dining plan, dining plus plan, or deluxe dining plan. Entree prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult plus tax and gratuities.

As with all dining locations within parks, park admission is required in order to dine. Reservations are recommended, which in the world of Disney really means required. It is nearly impossible to walk up to dine at this location without one. Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance. Your On the Road Travel Specialist will be available to assist you with how and when to get you set at this dining location.

There are many ways to get to Epcot and the Canada Pavilion! A favorite is to enter from the International Gateway at the back of Epcot---by either staying at the Boardwalk area hotels or by traveling via the Skyliner to enter at the back of the park. From there take a left through the UK Pavilion and you’ll run right into it. The bus system will drop you at the front of Epcot’s entry gates which will require about a 20 minute jaunt to the back of the park where you will find Le Cellier nestled in the Canada Pavilion. Just head to the right once you enter the World Showcase and it will be the first Pavilion.

Once inside and seated at the restaurant, one may wish to try the most popular favorites: Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, Le Cellier Signature Poutine, or the Le Cellier Filet Mignon. Then you’ll definitely want to end with a Maple Creme Brulee - a sweet decadent dessert! Of course, all of these can be paired with a Candaian wine, a wine flight to try various flavors, or even traditional beers or other specialty drinks! Special diet needs or restrictions? Just inquire---they do offer gluten free and vegetarian options.

This fine dining experience will be one to remember! We saved this for a date night, just the two of us! It was perfection! We each chose a different wine flight so we could try even more different regional wines. We opted to share a wedge salad to start and ended with a shared dessert. My husband ordered the filet and I ordered the lobster mac and cheese enhancement! We had more than enough food and enjoyed trying a variety from the menu! Of course at Epcot, we needed to save room---there was more to try and sample from around the World Showcase!

This location IS family friendly and theme park attire is welcomed! Whatever way you opt for---this is a delicious option away from quick service meals! Your taste buds will thank you for this upscale dining experience!

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
