Dining at Topolino's Terrace

For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

Topolino’s Terrace is one of the newest dining locations on Disney property, located atop the recently-opened Riviera Resort. This dining location features characters at breakfast and is transformed into a signature dining experience for dinner.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM until 12:15 PM and offers a prix fixe menu. Your meal will start off with a palette of fresh-baked pastries accompanied by house-made jam, honey butter, and chocolate-hazelnut spread. Each guest will select an entree from a list that includes, but is not limited to, quiche, a waffle, and the house favorite butchers steak. Children ages 3-9 have a choice of scrambled eggs, fruit with yogurt, and Mickey waffle dippers. Coffee, tea, juice, and fountain beverages are included in the price, while specialty beverages are offered at an additional charge. Current pricing for breakfast is $45 for adults and $29 for children.

The characters are the highlight of breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy are stylishly dressed from head to toe in outfits that are unique to Topolino’s. Mickey is dressed as a painter, complete with a stylish beret. Minnie wears her finest poet garb. Donald arrives as a sculptor, complete with a very dirty apron. And finally, Daisy dazzles as a beautiful ballerina. In addition to visiting your table during your dining experience, the characters parade through the restaurant every half hour or so and encourage little artists to join them in a parade.

For dinner, get ready to indulge in fresh, delicious seafood and meat dishes, handmade pasta, and decadent desserts infused with French and Italian flavors. This signature dining location features a gorgeous rooftop patio that you will want to take a moment to enjoy at some point during your visit to the restaurant. The menu is quite nice and offers something for even the pickiest of diners. Topolino’s does offer a kids’ menu for diners age 3-9.

Topolino’s Terrace is included on the dining plan program (when available) as a table service credit. Breakfast requires one table service credit per person, while dinner requires two credits per person. Remember that gratuities are not included and for a party of 6 or more, it will be automatically added to your bill.

Because Topolino’s offers a signature dining experience during the dinner hours, guests are asked to adhere to a minimum dress code. Men should wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Sport coats are optional. Women must wear capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language/graphics are not allowed. Please note that there are no dress restrictions during the breakfast hours.

Located at Disney’s Riviera Resort, no park admission is required to visit this dining location. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit. All character experiences are subject to change without notice.

This is a great breakfast choice if you’re planning an Epcot or Hollywood Studios day, as the Riviera Resort is on the Skyliner route!

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
