Character Dining at 1900 Park Fare

Updated 6/16/22
For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

1900 Park Fare is currently unavailable during the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort.

The 1900 Park Fare Restaurant is a fantastic place to be if you desire a character meal experience from multiple Disney movies! Located off the main lobby area of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, you can have an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh, or a dinner hosted by Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella. Since this restaurant is located in a Disney resort, you will not need a valid park admission to dine here.

The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 11:50am and includes traditional “Disney breakfast” options like Mickey waffles, made-to-order omelets, bacon, house-made corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, pastries, hickory-smoked ham with a brown sugar-maple honey glaze, and fresh fruit. The restaurant also has special menu options like Floridian Strawberry Soup and red velvet pancakes!

Throughout your breakfast, you will be greeted by various Disney characters including Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh (subject to change). They will visit your table for photos and autographs! On the 2020 Disney Dining Plan, 1900 Park Fare will use one table service credit. If you are paying cash for breakfast, it will be $45 for adults and $29 for children (aged 3-9) plus gratuities.

Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner is hosted by Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella. Cinderella and Prince Charming have an area set up for pictures away from the tables, but Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella walk throughout the restaurant and will visit your table for photos and autographs.

The dinner buffet is served from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and includes options like peel-n-eat shrimp, prime rib, catfish, Mongolian beef, pasta station, cheeses, salad bar, and Floridian strawberry soup. The restaurant also has a kid’s station with macaroni & cheese, chicken bites, turkey meatballs, pasta, pizza, and corn. There are also plenty of baked in-house dessert options!

On the Disney Dining Plan (when available), 1900 Park Fare will use one table service credit. If you’re paying cash for dinner, it’ll be $60 for adults and $39 for children (aged 3-9) plus gratuities. Specialty drinks, cocktails, wine, and beer are available at an additional cost.
1900 Park Fare is a great restaurant to consider if you are looking for a one table service credit character dining experience at a resort located on the monorail. I find the food choices to be above the average buffet fare, the service is good, and the character experiences are fantastic. At dinner, the stepsisters are hilarious and really get into their characters (be prepared they are quite dramatic). Be sure to come up with questions to ask them, because they always come up with the funniest answers.

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...

Get a taste of Disney heritage when you dine at the newest restaurant in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Named for the year Disney’s Contemporary Resort first opened, Steakhouse 71 harkens back to the design style of the 1970’s, reimagined in a contemporary, comfortable, and sleek way. You’ll even notice some Florida flair - such as Orange Bird and citrus groves - mixed in with the decor. Guests will feast on a delicious menu that offers a nod to Walt Disney himself. Choose from dishes inspired by some of Walt’s favorites, including the Steakhouse 71 Feast or Walt’s Prime Rib Hash for breakfast. French Onion Soup, Prime Rib Sandwich, and Fennel and Citrus-crusted Salmon are offered at lunch or dinner. Classic cocktails and a portfolio of Disney family wines are also available. I enjoyed breakfast on a recen...
