Beach Club Resort

Updated 3/29/2022  Be sure to request a Resort Guide at the front desk so that you can have the most up-to-date information about resort happenings and schedules. For the most up-to-date information about the phased re-opening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

Beach Club, a deluxe resort located in the Epcot resort area, provides guests the feel of a beach vacation, mixed with pure Disney charm, a fabulous pool, and great access to two of the four Disney parks!

Beach Club is a sure bet for any mix of Disney travelers. From honeymooners to babymooners,  from young families to multigenerational families, empty nesters to grandparents - this hotel is perfect for ALL!

Disney's Beach Club Resort
1800 Epcot Resorts Blvd
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

The Beach Club has 576 guest rooms. It faces the 25 acre Crescent Lake and is within walking distance of the Boardwalk entertainment district. Most rooms have a balcony, although they are quite small. Most rooms have 2 queen beds and a daybed.

Disney’s Beach Club has a sister resort - Yacht Club. The two hotels share what could be considered the best and most extensive pool area of all the Disney resorts. It is like having a personal water park right at your Disney resort.

The On The Road Travel team can help you pick the perfect room for your stay at Beach Club. If a standard room at Beach Club is not the sort of space you are dreaming of, you are in luck, as Beach Club Villas, have studios, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom options as well.

Room Accommodations:
Some rooms will fit up to 5 guests + 1 child under the age of 3.
Other rooms accommodate up to 4 guests + 1 child under the age of 3.

If you are looking for an elevated stay at Beach Club, Club Level rooms offer access to snacks, beverages, and treats most of the day. From turndown service to assistance prior to arriving at Disney World, the concierge team will have guests covered! You can take beverages and snacks out of the club level lounge to your room, to the pool, and to the park!  Club Level rooms are a good option if you like to take mid-day breaks, enjoy adult beverages to start (mimosa) or finish your day, or have travel partners who can eat their weight in snacks (teenage boys, for instance).

Beach Club (and sister resort, Yacht Club) are pet friendly resorts.  Up to two dogs are allowed per room to join in the family fun.  (Pets are not allowed in the parks or in common areas)  There are some things you need to know if you plan to bring your pooch, so be sure to talk to your OTRT agent about all the things you need to know.

Transportation:
Bussing from the resort is provided to all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Buses depart approximately every 20 minutes. Below you’ll find the approximate time it takes to get from Beach Club to those locations once on the bus.

Park Commuting Bus Times
Magic Kingdom 23 min.
Epcot 8 min.
Hollywood Studios 20 min.
Animal Kingdom 25 min.

Taxi, Uber, and Lyft are available.  Prices vary.

A benefit of this resort is boat transportation. Beach Club has friendship boat access to and from Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

The Skyliner system is also an option to get you to Hollywood Studios. Beach Club is less than a ten minute walk from the International Gateway at Epcot where there is now a Skyliner hub.  If you're up for it, it's a 20-30 minute walk to Hollywood Studios.

If you happen to rent a car or drive your own car to Disney, overnight parking at Beach Club is $25 per night.

Pools:
There is 1 feature pool, called Stormalong Bay, and two quiet pools.  Stormalong Bay includes a water slide as well as zero entry and sand bottom areas for kids to build and play.  Not only is there a sand bottom pool and water side...there is also a lazy river!  The waterslide features a shipwrecked vessel.  All pools are inclusive of a chair-lift device.  The pools are heated to 82 degrees year round, and life vests are provided in a variety of sizes at all pools.

Dining:
  • Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (Table Service)  This is a huge favorite for the Kitchen Sink Sundae! Those that try it will NEVER forget the experience!
  • Beaches & Cream To Go (Quick Service)
  • Cape May Cafe (Table Service)
  • Hurricane Hanna's Grill (Quick Service)
  • Martha's Vineyard Lounge (Bar or Lounge)
  • Beach Club Marketplace (Quick Service) - This is where you can refill your resort mug.  You can access a toaster oven, hot water, ice, condiments, and napkins in this area, along with so many meal and snack options.

Recreational Activities:
Ship Shape Health Club is a fitness center and spa featuring equipment, massages, and more. YOu can take a jog around Crescent Lake on a .08 mile path.
Visit Bayside Marina for boat rentals and fishing.

Gift Shop:
Beach Club Marketplace has much to look at and it is located near the other notable areas---dining, check in, just off the lobby. There are many fun finds here as well as items you may have forgotten at home like pharmacy needs and basic groceries (at Disney prices, of course!)

Lafferty Place Arcade:
An option, in case you have not already had enough fun while at Disney!

Cons:
The counter service food is not convenient
Transport to the Epcot front gate is a hassle (International Gateway entrance is a simple walk, if you opt for that)

Pros:
Stormalong Bay pool and water fun
Boat service to 2 of the 4 parks
Close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios
Access to the Skyliner
Easy walk to the Boardwalk Entertainment area

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
