Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will delight all ages--- the young and young at heart!

All 3 All-Star hotels have gigantic icons celebrating the fun and excitement of movies, sports or music.

This week’s feature is All-Star Movies.

It is a value resort and can be a great choice for your pocket book---while providing a comfortable stay with a REALLY fun vibe that provides MANY great photo opportunities, at the hotel!

This budget resort is large with over 1900 guest rooms!

All-Star Movies showcases giant popcorn boxes and icons from a variety of Disney films. All rooms have exterior doors with 3 and 4 story, motel-style buildings. The decor screams Disney, which many guests enjoy!

Rooms have been refurbished recently. Updates include the addition of hard surface flooring, additional plug-ins for technology charging, and a sleek design. The space is simple and the refrigerator is very helpful to store water bottles and snacks. The easily accessible murphy bed is great for more floor space during the day and sleeping space, at night. The pull-down bed was just as comfortable as the stationary bed! #TESTED The rooms have a queen bed in addition to the murphy bed.

Room Accommodations:
Rooms will fit up to 4 guests + 1 child under the age of 3.

Each All-Star Movies room is 260 square feet and furnished with the following:

Two beds, a queen bed and a murphy bed (some ADA-accessible rooms have 1 king bed)
Dresser with 3 medium-size drawers and 4 open shelves
Small table with 2 chairs
Nightstand with telephone and digital alarm clock
Full-length mirror (on bath door)
Wireless Internet (WiFi)
Flat-panel TV
Mini-fridge

Transportation:
Bussing is provided to all parks and Disney Springs

Magic Kingdom 20 min
Epcot 25 min
Hollywood Studios 17 min
Animal Kingdom 19 min

Taxi, Uber, and Lyft are available for quick service to anywhere you may need to go, on or off of Disney property. Prices vary.

If you happen to drive your own car to Disney, overnight parking at All-Star Movies is $15 per night.




Pools:
Sorcerer Mickey sprays water at this expansive pool inspired by the classic Disney film. For the little ones, a kiddie pool and water play area are located nearby.

Duck Pond Pool, an additional hockey rink-styled pool based on The Mighty Ducks film series, is also available for Guests looking to cool off.

There are no water slides, hot tubs or jacuzzies at All-Star Music Resort. Life vests, in a variety of sizes, are provided at all pools.

Playground:
There is a playground near Toy Story Building 9 and near the Cinema Hall, where dining is found. It is designed with safety in mind and can be a great place for littles to let out some energy.
 
Dining:
Value resorts, including All-Star Music, do not have full-service, sit-down dining options. At All-Star Music, you’ll find The World Premiere Food Court, which serves a variety of foods to keep the whole crew happy! This is also where you can refill your resort mug and fuel your body for all of the park fun. You can access toaster oven, hot water, ice, condiments and napkins in this area, along with so many meal and snack options. The food court offers mobile ordering, so plan to use this every chance you get to save time in lines and get moving toward the magic on your vacation.

7:00 AM to 11:00 PM




Pizza Delivery is on pause during the phase reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, but you can order delivery from a variety of local restaurants.

Silver Screen Spirits Bar is located on the way to the Fantasia Pool. There is a small area for outside seating. Grab a drink while you are waiting for a mobile order. The menu offers many choices including draft beers, specialty cocktails, sangria and wine.

Gift Shop:
All-Star Movies gift shop is Donald’s Double Feature and it is located just off the lobby. There are many fun finds here, as well as items you may have forgotten at home, including pharmacy items and basic groceries (at Disney prices, of course!)

Reel Fun Arcade:
An option, in case you have not already had enough fun, while at Disney!

Exercise:
There is NOT a fitness center at All-Star Movies, but there is a one-mile jogging path. It is paved and connects the three All-Star resorts.



Cons:
This hotel shares a bus with the other All-Star Resorts and as a result, bus lines and waits can be long
Rooms are small
No character meals or full-service dining options available at the resort
Limited amenities
Remote location with longer travel times

Pros:
THEMING! All-Star Movies is VERY Kid friendly, and brings movies to life at the hotel
Most economical rates on property
Large pools
The refurbished rooms and the murphy bed
