A Disney Vacation Movie Marathon!

You’ve planned your dream vacation, and the excitement is building, but how do you tide yourself over until your trip? Movies of course! So many of the attractions, character experiences, and entertainment on your Disney vacation will be even more enjoyable if you’re familiar with the movies and stories from which they were dreamed up. Below is a list of the best movies to prepare you and your family for your upcoming trip!


Disney World

Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 - Take on Zurg at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom. At Hollywood Studios, become one of the toys in Toy Story Land where you can take a ride on Slinky Dog Dash, spin with the Aliens on their Swirling Saucers, and reach your high score at Toy Story Mania.

Cinderella - See the castle in real life and meet the princess herself at Magic Kingdom.

Dumbo - Fly along on Dumbo the Flying Elephant at Magic Kingdom.

Beauty and the Beast - Become part of the story at Enchanted Tales with Belle and meet Belle at the Magic Kingdom. You can also see the movie come to life at Beauty and the Beast Live at Hollywood Studios.

Alice in Wonderland - Take a spin on the teacups at the Mad Tea Party in Magic Kingdom and visit with Alice at the UK pavilion in Epcot.

Aladdin - Take a ride on a flying carpet and meet Aladdin and Jasmine at Magic Kingdom

Christopher Robin - Experience The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and meet Pooh and friends at Magic Kingdom. You can dine with Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace.

Monsters Inc. and Monsters University
- Go see the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom and meet and greet with Mike and Sulley at Hollywood Studios.

Peter Pan - Fly over London in your very own pirate ship on Peter Pan’s Flight at the Magic Kingdom. You may even meet Peter in Fantasyland and Tink at the Main Street Theater.

Pirates of the Caribbean
- See if you can spot Captain Jack Sparrow on the classic dark ride at the Magic Kingdom.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - Ride through the mines on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom. You can also enjoy Storybook Dining with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Artist’s Point at the Wilderness Lodge Resort.

The Little Mermaid - Go Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid and meet Ariel herself at the Magic Kingdom and then relive the story at Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Hollywood Studios.

Finding Nemo and Finding Dory - Enter the big blue world to ride along at the Seas with Nemo and Friends and then chat with Crush at Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot. See the stage show, including brand new songs, at Finding Nemo the Musical in the Animal Kingdom.

The Muppets - Experience the action up close at Muppet Vision 3D at Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars - Ride along with your favorite characters on Star Tours, become a Jedi (unfortunately, only if you’re under 12), meet your favorite characters in the Star Wars Launch Bay, and experience the March of the First Order at Hollywood Studios. Soon you'll also be able to visit Galaxy's Edge and fully immerse yourself in the world of Star Wars!

Indiana Jones marathon - See how movie magic is made at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Hollywood Studios.

Avatar - Enter the Mo’ara valley and take a Flight of Passage and experience the Na’vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom.

Up - Become a Wilderness Explorer, earn your badges, meet Dug and Russell, and experience UP! A Great Bird Adventure at Animal Kingdom.

A Bug’s Life - Become an honorary bug at It’s Tough to Be a Bug at Animal Kingdom.

The Lion King - At Animal Kingdom, enjoy the Festival of the Lion King and maybe even see a few lions yourself on Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Frozen - Visit Arendelle in the Norway pavilion at Epcot where you can tour Elsa and Anna’s castle at Frozen Ever After and meet them in their Summerhaus. You can also sing along to all if the songs you love at For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Hollywood Studios.

Disneyland

Alice in Wonderland - Explore Wonderland yourself on Alice in Wonderland and take a spin in the teacups at the Mad Tea Party at Disneyland Park.

Toy Story 1, 2, & 3 - Save the galaxy on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters at Disneyland Park and play your way through the midway on Toy Story Mania at California Adventure.

Dumbo - Fly along on Dumbo the Flying Elephant at Disneyland Park.

Indiana Jones
- Go on your own Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland Park.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - You may need to cover your eyes as you ride Snow White’s Scary Adventures at Disneyland Park.

Star Wars - Ride along with the crew on Star Tours and meet your favorite characters in the Star Wars Launch Bay at Disneyland Park.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Join Rocket on a mission to rescue the Guardians of the Galaxy on Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout at California Adventure.

Incredibles 1 & 2 - Jump on the Incredicoaster for a wild ride through Pixar Pier at California Adventure. You may run into the fabulous Edna Mode while there.

The Little Mermaid - Go Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid on Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at California Adventure.

Cars 1, 2, & 3 - Experience the wonder of Cars Land at California Adventure. Grab a snack at Flo’s Diner, take a ride through Radiator Springs, and party in the junkyard at Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

Monsters, Inc. & Monsters University - Head to California Adventure and join the team on Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!

Finding Nemo and Finding Dory - Chat with Crush at Turtle Talk with Crush at California Adventure and explore the deep blue sea on the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland Park.

Frozen - Enjoy the show that inspired the Broadway musical at Frozen - Live at the Hyperion at California Adventure.
