Meet Me Monday: Dawn Zorilo

It’s week two of Meet Me Monday, and today is all about Dawn Zorilo!

Dawn lives in New York with her husband, Bryan, and son, Joseph. She has loved Mickey Mouse and Disney movies since she was a child. Dawn was 11 when she first visited Disney World with her parents and brother, and that trip ignited a love for Disney that hasn’t stopped growing.

Some of Dawn’s Disney favorites include:
Resort: Wilderness Lodge
Park: Epcot
Ride: Tower of Terror
Animated movie: The Lion King
Live movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl Character: the original black & white Mickey Mouse

Reading about all things Disney and learning how to organize trips became a passion of hers. Many years and several Disney trips (including a honeymoon) later, Dawn was lucky enough to be introduced to Chris Cook-Leitz through her aunt. She got to know Chris over the years from booking trips and talking Disney with her, so Dawn was ecstatic when Chris invited her to join the team at On The Road Travel. “I am so blessed to be able to do something I truly love. Sharing the joy of Disney with my clients is the best job in the world!”

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
