Victoria & Albert's

Updated 6/16/22
For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the  Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.

While there are several signature and fine dining restaurant options located on the Walt Disney World property, Victoria and Albert’s is the ultimate in Disney luxury.

Victoria and Albert’s is located in the beautiful Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The restaurant features timeless elegance, including fresh cut flowers adorning each table, fine china dishes, a harpist, and opulent artwork throughout the restaurant. Your dinner will feature a team of service staff to guide you through the seemingly endless number of exquisite courses and a sommelier for the perfect wine pairings with each course. The dining experience also boasts numerous awards including AAA’s Five Diamond Award, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating, exceptional Zagat reviews, and scores of glowing reviews from impressed patrons.

Cuisine at Victoria and Albert’s features modern American fare with culinary touches from around the world. The menu each night is based on the freshest available seafood, herbs, and proteins, with menu offerings changing seasonally to assure the finest products available. Sample menus can be found on The Walt Disney World dining website and frequently include indulgent ingredients such as caviar, Alaskan king crab, and Waygu beef, all expertly tailored to your specific dining preferences and needs. From experience, the food at Victoria and Albert’s is exceptional. This is not just the type of food that makes you say “yum” or “that was delicious”. This is a caliber of cuisine that makes you close your eyes and savor each individual bite, complete with the beauty of plating that turns every course into a piece of edible art.

Advanced reservations are required, and I highly suggest working with your On The Road Travel Agent so you are prepared as soon as your reservation window opens. They do book up quickly with only one seating per night. There are three dining areas to choose from. The main dining room features 14 tables and two tasting menu choice options based on the number of courses you would like to enjoy. Queen Victoria’s room offers intimate seating for up to eight guests total, with a ten course menu, and your own personal service staff. The Chef’s Table is largely regarded as the hardest reservation to acquire on WDW property. The Chef’s Table is a single table located directly in the kitchen of Victoria and Albert’s, and features an eleven course menu with personal attention from Executive Chef, Scott Hunnel. Plan for a longer than average dining experience with a cascade of courses lasting at least two to three hours.

Valet parking is available at the main entrance of The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for no additional charge. Guests staying on property can utilize Disney transportation to reach the Grand Floridian. The resort can be accessed from the Magic Kingdom via the Monorail. A dress code is strictly enforced with a dinner jacket, collared shirt, and dress slacks required for men, and elegant evening attire required for women. Additional dress code policies can be found on Walt Disney World’s dining website, and the Victoria and Albert’s customer service staff will be in contact with you prior to your reservation to answer any questions you might have. Also, keep in mind, this is a time to get a sitter for the little kiddos. Guests must be at least ten years of age to dine at this location.

While this lavish experience is considered priceless by many, dining does start at $295 per person, with additional costs based on the number of courses selected, wine pairings, and menu upgrades. Now, I know what you are all thinking right now, and there is no getting around it. Yes, Victoria and Albert’s is expensive, but I promise you it is the most delicious food and most exceptional customer service that you will ever experience. I have had the privilege of dining in both the main dining room and Queen Victoria’s Room, and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with either choice.

Save this one for a special occasion because it will definitely be a dining experience that you will never forget.

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
