Dining:
There are a handful of dining options that can be found at Saratoga Springs. Additionally, the resort is conveniently located next to Disney Springs.

Turf Club Bar & Grill
- Table service dining location where you can take in panoramic views of waterways and golf greens while dining on delicious American fare.

Artist’s Palette - Counter Service dining location that is setup like a deli. You will not find your typical hamburger and fries that you often find at a Disney resort food court. You can also access a toaster oven, hot water, ice, condiments, and napkins in this area, along with many meal and snack options. Dining Plan and standard forms of payment are accepted.

Paddock Grill – Dining spot located near the Paddock Pool has quick-service breakfast & lunch offerings (seasonally).

The Turf Club Lounge - Stop by for a signature cocktail or a cold beer before dinner in the restaurant of the same name.

On The Rocks - This pool bar offers refreshments near the High Rock Spring Pool.

Backstretch Pool Bar - This counter service restaurant near the Paddock Pool offers quick refreshments, including beer, cocktails, and snacks.

Chip 'n Dale's Cafe - Grab a quick bite after golfing.  This sandwich stand offers all sorts of savory snacks.  Light breakfasts are available too.

Disney Springs Restaurants
– A retail, entertainment and dining center with plenty of opportunities to satisfy all pallets. Saratoga Springs is the only Disney World resort that offers both walking and boat access to Disney Springs. Rooms in the Congress Park section of Saratoga Springs are only a five-minute walk away from Disney Springs. Be sure to ask your On The Road planner for dining recommendations! You can read all about the Disney Springs dining opportunities here: Disney Springs Dining

Gift Shops:
The Artist’s Palette gift shop is next to the lobby and reception area of the Saratoga Springs Resort. The shop offers men’s and women’s clothing, watches, unique souvenirs, grab ‘n go fare, gourmet foodstuffs, over the counter medicines, groceries, and small decor for the home. The shop also carries necessities like sunscreen and beach wear.

Cons:
The resort grounds are beautiful and kept up at Saratoga Springs. If you are not up to walking to the pools or to get food, this may not be the resort for you. If you are all about maximizing your time in the Disney World theme parks and are depending on Disney transportation, you may get frustrated with the transportation at this sprawling resort.

Pros:
This resort is perfect for people who are looking for a true "resort" experience, as opposed to just a "Disney Vacation". The units are spacious and comfortable, and the resort has numerous beautiful pools, on-site recreation, easy access to wonderful golf courses, and immediate access to lots of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. It is also a great choice for multi-generational trips or for guests who really want to relax in a comfortable and luxurious setting. If your family really loves hanging out at the pool, this resort has several fun and beautiful pool areas to choose from.

It is likely to be a top pick for adults taking a Walt Disney World vacation solely for the sake of their kids, but want a reprieve from the “magic” when returning from the parks. Conversely, Saratoga Springs is also a good option for an adults-only or a honeymoon trip if you want easy access to the exceptional dining at Disney Springs.

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. And o
