Why is it Good to Travel?

Why is it good to travel?

First ask yourself, why do I want to travel and what do I want to get from it? Is it a family trip? Is your goal to spend time with your kids without distractions? Is it a trip with your significant other to reconnect and relax? Is it a personal trip, to go somewhere you have always wanted to visit?

These things can all be achieved. Did you know travel also helps you live longer, makes you smarter, increases creativity, gives you a better understanding of culture, makes you happier, broadens your horizons, gives you confidence, improves your communication skills, gives you real life education and an appreciation of what you have, and it makes memories that will last a lifetime. Plus, there are even studies that tell us traveling truly makes us healthier!

These are all important things in life, so your vacation is important. You want your vacation to be the best experience possible. You have worked hard for this money and this time away. Of course doing research online is helpful and looking for the best price is always a goal - but how important is it to have someone working beside you with the same goals at no extra cost?

As a travel agent, I’m doing research for my clients every day. While I don’t know everything and I haven’t been everywhere, I have more resources than the average person and I put them to work for you. I also work with other clients every day who travel all over the world and I receive personal first hand information from them based on their experiences. Best of all, I work for a travel agency, so I have access to other travel agents who specialize in Disney, Universal, Cruises, all inclusive resorts, International, and domestic locations with so much experience of their own. Travel agents love to travel, because we love helping people and we know how important and beneficial it is for you to have a great vacation. So contact your On The Road Travel Agent today to help give you ideas of the best places to travel for your needs and to help you plan the trip you've been dreaming of. You can also connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

Helping you see the world, Fred Scharbrough

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
