Grocery Delivery to Your Orlando Resort

I don’t want to have to cook or clean up a meal mess on vacation. If I have to prepare a meal, then the trip is no longer considered vacation, it’s just normal life. When we stay at resorts in Orlando however, we do like to have a few items in our room for the sake of convenience. We like to have breakfast items that we can eat on the run, snacks that we can toss in our backpack to eat in the park, and lots of bottled water.

If you are driving to Orlando, the solution is easy - make a stop when you arrive in town, before you head to your resort. Those of us that fly don’t want to carry a separate suitcase with these supplies, so we rely on some great grocery delivery options in the Orlando area. Below are three services that the On The Road Travel Team have used and can recommend.

Garden Grocer - This website offers several categories from which you can select items. Whether you want baby wipes or bottled water, Garden Grocery can deliver it to you. There is a $14.00 delivery fee unless your order is over $200, then there is no fee. Same day delivery is offered for an additional $30 and next day delivery is an additional $20. You need not be present for delivery. Garden Grocer can leave your items with Bell Services at your resort and refrigeration can be provided until your arrival. Garden Grocer does offer limited brands and items, so if there are very specific items on your list, this may not be the best option. Visit www.gardengrocer.com for more information.




We Go Shop - We Go Shop offers personal shoppers who complete your order as if it was for their own family. They shop at the store of your choice and there is no upcharge for the items. There is a delivery fee for your order starting at $19.00 and additional fees are charged for same day delivery, after hours service, and multi-store shopping. Like with Garden Grocer, you need not be present for delivery. We Go Shop is a great option for families with food allergies and they can accommodate special requests including alcohol, floral arrangements, Kosher and party trays, and specialty cakes. Amazon Prime Now - This is a relatively new player to the grocery delivery game, but has proven to be a great option. The Amazon Prime Now app on your Smart Phone makes it simple to use this service. When you open the app, you enter your ZIP code to find local availability and then check out using your existing Amazon Prime account. Local couriers will deliver the items to you during window of time that you select. Delivery fees are based on order size. If you are not going to be present for delivery, you should make a note as to how you want items stored - if you have cold items you should note in the delivery instructions that the items be bagged and stored in a refrigerator at Bell Services. You can download the app for free in the App Store.

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls!
