The Toy Story Land Countdown is Almost Over!

TOMORROW is the day! Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios will officially open JUNE 30! In anticipation of this much awaited expansion, here is everything we know so far:

As guests enter into Toy Story Land, they will shrink to the size of a toy and join in the fun that Woody, Jessie, Buzz and other toys are having in Andy's backyard. There are two new attractions in Toy Story Land that join the beloved Toy Story Mania which has been in place since 2008.

Slinky Dog Dash is a family friendly roller coaster fun for all ages. From what we have gathered, the intensity seems to be about the same as Thunder Mountain Railroad. The height requirement for Slinky Dog Dash will be 38" and it is a Tier 1 attraction for fast passes.

Disney describes this as, "Andy's assembled his awesome coaster kit...and Slinky Dog is ready to take you for a wild ride on a crazy coaster - one that gives you a glimpse of all that Toy Story Land has to offer. Come along as Slinky Dog bends and twists his coils around curves, hills, bridges and drops. Make no mistake, this is one wacky attraction...and fun for the entire family!"

Alien Swirling Saucers is also family friendly, with a height requirement of 32". This is a Tier 1 attraction as well. For those guests who have been to Disney's California Adventure, this new attraction has been compared to Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, which is oh so fun!

Disney describes this as, "The Aliens have powered up their flying saucers to take you on a dizzying ride through space! Hang on tight as your toy rocket ride takes off, all while space electronica provides an out-of-this-world beat. And if you're lucky, you might just get "chosen" by the claw. Oooooo!"

Toy Story Mania will have a new entrance with access from Toy Story Land. Toy Story Mania will remain a Tier 1 attraction. Another track has been added to this attraction to increase capacity and decrease wait times! You’ll still be able to compete for the best prize in these carnival themed games.

While playing in Andy's backyard you might work up an appetite and grabbing a bite to eat at Woody's Lunch Box will be just what you need! Service will be from a walk-up window and food will consist of "tasty meals and old fashioned floats." Guests can visit Woody's Lunch Box for breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as for specialty drinks to quench your thirst!

Gaston's Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a must for me at Christmas and this is one of my favorite recipes for look-alike Gaston’s Tavern Giant Cinnamon Rolls! I found it on Inside the Magic , so all recipe credit belongs to them, but I have copied it below with some of my commentary and photos of my step by step process. Homemade cinnamon rolls are always going to be a bit time consuming, but these only have to proof for 40 minutes total so it’s really not bad at all! First things first, here are the materials you’re going to need: Mixer (one with a dough hook will make your life much much easier) and bowl Rubber scrapers Rolling pin 2-3 saucepans Microwave safe bowls An area big enough to roll them out 2 metal sheet pans with edges Measuring cups Measuring spoons Medium sized bowl for filling Liquid measuring cup The nice thing about the recipe is it uses pretty basic ingredients that you likely already have at your house. I went to Aldi and bought nearly everything just to see and it was about $20. A...
