We Made it to Disney World - Now What?

Arrival day at Disney World is full of emotions.....excitement, nervousness, anticipation, happiness, exhaustion, and relief! Below are just a few of our suggestions for the best things to do the day you arrive at Disney World. First and foremost, make sure you check in to your resort via the Disney World app or online through MyDisneyExperience. This will allow Disney to already have the information the cast members typically collect during the standard check-in process, and if you already have your Magic Bands, you won’t even have to stop in the lobby! Head to the parks - If you may want to maximize your vacation time by heading into the parks on your arrival day, drop off your carry-on bags in your room (or bell services if your room is not ready) and go have some fun! You can swim at the res...

Celebrating Mickey's 90th in Disneyland

I took my first visit to Disneyland when I was only one.  I visited most years with either my parents or my grandparents.  I went there almost every year until 2016 when I became an Annual Passholder at Disney World.  For spring break this year, I decided it was time to go back to my Disney roots and take the trip out to California. For me, California is a quick two hour direct flight, preferably into the Orange County Airport.  Once our plane landed, It took us less than an hour to check in to the hotel and get on our first ride at Disneyland.  The hotel we stayed at is located directly across the street from the entrance. It took five minutes to walk from our hotel room door to the entrance of Disneyland.  A trip to the Disneyland Resort can be incredibly convenient since both parks and Downtown Disney are all within walking distance of each other and many hotels. The moment you step onto Main Street U.S.A. you can sense Walt’s Disney magic eve...

2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Everything is in bloom at the 2019 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! With so much to do, how do you narrow it down? After visiting during March this year, we’ve caught the highlights for you! This year’s festival started on March 6 and continues until June 3. There are features all throughout Epcot, and there is still plenty of time to visit this year’s festival. The Flower and Garden Festival might be my favorite of all the festivals at Epcot. Part of it, I must admit, is the nostalgia. Because it always occurs over Spring Break, we have made so many fun memories at Flower and Garden through the years. That being said, it is truly incredible how the World Showcase in particular is transformed to a living garden. There’s so much to learn and see, not to mention all of the delicious sips and bites. First thing’s first - be sure to grab a guide map and festival passport on your way into the park. These will help you to plan your day, and the passport even provides sticke...
