Meet Me Monday: Laura Barlow
We’re ringing in the New Year with a new On The Road Travel Agent! Please welcome, Laura Barlow!
Laura is so excited to be a part of the On the Road Travel team! Her passion and excitement for Disney runs deeper than Mary Poppins’ magic satchel and being able to share that love with others truly is a dream come true.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Laura’s family would regularly cross the country for family trips to Disney World. One of her favorite memories was the year she turned 20. Normally 20 isn’t a monumental birthday, but she had never celebrated a birthday at Disney World before! The entire week was FULL of magical moments to celebrate her special day, culminating with a scuba diver in the tank at The Coral Reef Restaurant with a poster saying “Happy Birthday Laura!” Every day was a different surprise and she became absolutely addicted to the magic of Disney!
Professionally, Laura has worked in a variety of professions. She spent time in the hospitality industry working on the Global Brand team of Starwood Hotels and Resorts. It was there that she worked on projects that increase the guest experience. She also spent many years as a project consultant for other hospitality brands. Currently she is lucky enough to own her own Virtual Assistant Agency where she helps connect business owners with remote assistants to help their businesses run more smoothly. All these experiences have helped her excel in project management, social media marketing and personal connections. These skills, coupled with her love of Disney and traveling, makes planning Disney travel for others a perfect match!
Laura currently lives deep in the heart of Texas with her husband and three girls. She loves researching, training and keeping up to date on all things Disney so she can plan the most magical trips for her clients!

Best Disney Vacation Memory: Watching my girls experience Disney for the first time was a game changer for me. To watch them experience the magic of the parks, parades and characters and LOVE it was the very best feeling. Now they have the same love as I do for the parks and we try to return as often as possible.
